To check what graphics you have, search in the Windows start menu Device and click Device Manager. Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 470 1GB / ATI® Radeon™ HD 6970 1GB'Īnother important part. ![]() Unlike the processor, RAM is very easy to upgrade. There are many guides if you Google or Youtube it showing you how to choose the correct RAM for your system and install it. If you have less than this, such as 4 GB, consider upgrading your RAM. If you have at least 6 GB of RAM, you're good to go. You should see an Installed Memory (RAM) category. To check your RAM amount, search in the Windows start menu System and click System. This is pretty important for BO3 since this game uses A LOT of RAM. For example, if you have a i7-4771T, but you don't see an i7-4771T, look for an i7-4770T or an i7-4771. The first numbers are more important than the last numbers. In this case, look at the name of your processor, and try to find the next closest thing to that name. NOTE 2: Some obscure processors may not show up on either of these charts. The i3-530 is a low-end processor, but if your processor is anywhere on these charts, then you're good to go. NOTE 1: For laptop users, please consult this chart for high-end processors and this chart for low-end processors. It's generally not worth upgrading a processor, especially for laptops because mobile chips are hard to come by, and most processors shipped by manufacturers are soldered (glued) into the motherboard. If it's not, then you unfortunately will have to do a complete system upgrade. If your processor is near or above that category, you're good to go. Consult this hierarchy chart of processors. Click the arrow next to Processors which will give you your processor name. You should see a bunch of arrows of stuff. To check what processor you have, search in the Windows start menu Device and click Device Manager. This is not the most vital part for BO3, but is still pretty important. ![]() Processor: Intel® Core™ i3-530 2.93 GHz / AMD Phenom™ II X4 810 2.60 GHz Most versions of Windows shipped with computers nowadays are 64-bit. To check if you have a 64-bit version, search in the Windows start menu system and click system. Most people should know if they have Windows 7, 8, 8.1, or 10 (yes, BO3 supports Windows 10 no problem even though it doesn't say on the Steam page). OS: Windows 7 64-Bit / Windows 8 64-Bit / Windows 8.1 64-Bit The first thing you need to know is if you can actually run the game at a solid FPS (frames per second - in other words, how smooth the gameplay is). You may be a simple RAM or graphics card upgrade away from playing BO3! Here's my guide on everything you need to know to get the best deals on the game as well as the hardware required to run it. I've noticed that some people on this sub wish they could play BO3 on PC, but aren't willing to drop tons of money on the game and especially a gaming PC just to play one game. ![]()
