How to download macOS Sierra - Apple Support primarily because third party app vendors have not updated their apps for High Sierra yet. 10.13.2 should be available soon as it has been under beta testing for a while now, so that will appear in the Updates section when it is released. If you download and install High Sierra you will get version 10.13.1 which is the latest. Thus, I can get High Sierra the normal way (would have been possible via selecting 'Featured" too) - but I have no idea why App Store works so strange on my normal (administrative, every-day) user account.įull macOS's are never listed in the Updates section of the App Store, you download them via the Featured page in the App Store, you will find High Sierra. And then always migrated my user account.Īnd writing the sentence before I realized I should look into App Store from another user account: Switched to another Standard-User, opened App Store - and there it is, I am offered High Sierra. Later I updated to El Capitan but that system I transferred on a USB-stick from the MB to the MBP. I believe this 'misbehavior' started when I 'hide'ed Yosemite when being on Mavericks. (At least here even a non-supported MB late-2008 Aluminum on El Capitan got shown Sierra, now High Sierra). It fulfills the requirements for Sierra / High Sierra, but I don't get these OS's shown in the offered Updates list, which normally is the case (of course, only one of them) Now I get everything (?) but the new OS's. What I mean: I want back the normal behavior that App Store shows all available Updates. ![]()
